Towlift is a longtime material handling presence in the Ohio-Pennsylvania region. Following notable growth and a desire for stronger branding, they hired PlanetMagpie's Creative Lab for a new website. (Story here.)
This was a joint effort between the Creative Lab team members, our Craft CMS development partner, Good Work, and Towlift's executive leadership and marketing teams.
The new Towlift.com launched in March of 2022.
As the Creative Lab often does with its most successful website projects, we nominated the new Towlift.com website for the W3 Awards.
The Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA) runs the W3 Awards each year. From the AIVA's description of the Awards:
"The w3 Awards honors creative excellence on the web, and recognizes the people behind award-winning sites, marketing programs, social content, mobile site/apps and online video."
They select judges from top firms in the digital marketing industry to judge each category.
This year, the competition had 3,000 entries. The W3 judges recognized Towlift.com with two awards:
 | Gold Award for Website Redesign. Less than 10% of entries went on to receive Gold Awards. This recognition for excellence in website redesign applies to all industries. |
 | Silver Award in Manufacturing category. This is the second W3 Silver award in Manufacturing for PlanetMagpie customers, and the eighth W3 Silver Award won overall. |
