Introducing David Pena, IT Support Technician

PlanetMagpie is proud to welcome David as a new Senior IT Support Technician!

Patience may be a virtue, but it’s also essential when working with technology!

A well-developed sense of patience is critical to successful IT support. That’s one of the reasons PlanetMagpie is happy to have David Pena joining the team.

David has spent the past 5 years navigating some of the most stressful IT conditions in the support world. He’s worked on everything from Active Directory access problems to VPN implementations.

It helped him build two related, equally important skills:

  1. Picking up on new technologies fast, and
  2. Tenacity in troubleshooting their multi-layered issues

Prior to joining the team, David worked with the Oakland Housing Authority, administering a Microsoft 365 tenant and managing remote collaboration tools.

As part of the PlanetMagpie’s Support Team based in the Silicon Valley office, David will work with customers in a wide range of IT environments, taking care of user support issues, upgrading hardware and networks, and strengthening system security.
