Staples Construction worked hard to become a successful construction company with a sterling reputation. They wanted a website that reflected that reputation, in order to tackle even bigger projects.
The new StaplesConstruction.com launched in early 2017 and quickly fulfilled that goal. Now, thanks to the W3 Awards, the company can tout it as award winning as well!
The W3 Awards recognize creative excellence on the Web. For 12 years now, they’ve given awards to select websites, videos, apps, and social campaigns from over 5,000 entries each year.
To win a W3 Award, an organization must have created an original, easy-to-use, and top-quality website, video, social content, or mobile app. Winners receive a Silver, Gold, or Best in Show Award and recognized on the W3 Awards website.
From Basic to Award-Winning
At the end of 2016, the old StaplesConstruction.com was going on 10 years old! The new version was a total rebuild, from content to design. Today it stands as one the finest websites we’ve ever created.
Since PlanetMagpie.com had won W3 Awards in 2016, we felt certain StaplesConstruction.com would win a W3 in 2017. Turns out, we were right!

- Website Features Visual Appeal – Experience: Best in Show!
- Website Features Home Page: Silver
Other top winners included National Geographic, the National Association of Independent Schools, the State of Indiana Website, and Aetna Inc.
