Furniture Store and Material Handling Distributor Added to Ranks of "Award-Winning Sites" Among Web Developer’s Client Base
PlanetMagpie, a San Francisco Bay Area Web Development firm, has won their 8th and 9th WebAwards for 2 client websites.
Every year, a number of websites are graded on 7 criteria in the
annual Web Marketing Association’s WebAward competition. The best entries will win awards like Outstanding Website or Best in Industry.
Every year, PlanetMagpie submits websites built for their clients. And for the 5th year in a row now, one or more of those websites won a WebAward.
For 2013, PlanetMagpie won the
"Transportation Standard of Excellence" award for
Cromer Material Handling, a major Northern California material handling provider. They also won the
"Consumer Goods Standard of Excellence" award for
Giorgi Bros. Furniture Showroom, a family-owned furniture store operating in South San Francisco since 1933.
Thousands of sites are submitted to the WebAwards judges every year, from around the world. Winners are chosen for 96 industry categories, from Application Service Provider to TV. It's one of the Web's longest-standing and highly-prized recognitions for online marketing achievement.
Doreyne Douglas, head of the firm's Web Development division, views the WebAwards as a capstone for their clients’ new sites. "Every web development client receives the best custom work we can provide. It's a lot of work on the client's side too, working with us on their ideal layout, what message they want to convey, and the features they'll need to interact with their customers. When their site wins a WebAward, it’s a recognition of their hard work as much as ours."
