Email Settings: Outlook 2003 for Windows

Getting Started with Outlook 2003

1. Open Outlook 2003
2. Click Tools, from the pull down menu and select E-mail Accounts Settings
3. "Bullet" add a new e-mail account; and click Add

4. "Bullet" POP3; and click next

Configure your Outlook 2003 for POP3 and SMTP Authentication

1. Type in your User Information:
2. Type in your Server Information:
  • The incoming mail server (POP3) is mail2.planetmagpie.com
  • The outgoing mail server (SMTP) is smtp2.planetmagpie.com
3. Type in your Logon Information:
  • The user name is your entire e-mail address
  • The password is your e-mail account password
4. Check the Remember Password field

Configure your Outlook 2003 for Windows to retrieve your PlanetMagpie Email

1. Click on More settings...
2. Under the Outgoing Server tab "check" My Outgoing Server (SMTP) requires authentication; and "click" OK

3. "Click" Next
4. Review the account information; and "click" Finish
