Wow! Talk about a big question to ask a dog. I can't review smartphones too well myself (my paws are too big for the keypads), so I'll have to sniff out some input.
Most people like receiving email, checking calendars and managing tasks on their smartphones. Go with the Pre if your company uses Exchange – it runs on Windows Mobile 6.5. Perfect, seamless interface.
Blackberry was the standard for email, but they're losing share to newer phones and the iPhone. Opt for the iPhone if you don't use Office Communication Server, or if task lists are more important.
